I have to give up my desk.

I don’t mind that.

But the fact that I wasn’t told I need to give it up by tomorrow (morning). They just “informed” me at 11.45pm.

How nice.

Told them it wasn’t fair to me.

Response was - “It doesn’t belong to you. You didn’t buy the desk.”

So I have been using it for the past 3-4yrs, used it for uni work and writing but apparently it’s not mine.

I told them I can’t clear my things that fast and I do not have a place to put them.

Where should I put my things?

They said “On the floor”.

I told them it’s the same situation like 3-4yrs ago with my other desk when they decided they want it out of my room.

They said I wasn’t being “demanding”, “selfish” and “unhelpful”.

And mockingly said “Fine, take your time. Take a week, take a month, take 2 months. A year. However long you feel you need to let go of the desk”.

All I did was said I couldnt clear my things that fast.

They also said “I don’t want you to move into that room anymore. You can stay where you are.”

How petty & calculative can you get.

I’m terribly disappointed with them.

I really am.

I give up.

It’s not worth my time to upset or down about this.

Going to clear my things off the desk now.

Standing at a crossroad. Which path should I take? Heart or Head? Certainty or Ambiguity? Being an adult is hardwork.
